I’m Nikki Martin, a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Emerald Coast Stuttering.

I’ve spent over 20 years helping people improve their communication, and over time, my work has become more focused on supporting people who stutter.

What I’ve seen—again and again—is that many people who stutter have already tried speech therapy, but struggle to carry those strategies into real-life situations.

That’s what led me to take a different approach.

I believe communication shouldn’t feel like something you have to manage all the time.

My work focuses on reducing pressure, building confidence, and helping people feel more comfortable communicating in everyday life—not just in a therapy session.

Nikki is a Spero Ally of Stuttering® SLP and continues to learn from and collaborate with the stuttering community through ongoing education, advocacy, and mentorship.
