Stuttering therapy and support for teens and adults along Florida’s Emerald Coast

Stuttering can be exhausting to manage alone

Many teens and adults who stutter have spent years trying to manage speaking situations on their own.

Some have had speech therapy in the past.
Some were told they would outgrow it.
Others have simply learned to avoid situations that feel difficult.

Over time, these strategies can become exhausting.

Stuttering therapy for teens and adults focuses on building communication confidence, reducing speaking pressure, and developing tools that make speaking feel easier and more comfortable.

At Emerald Coast Stuttering, I provide online stuttering therapy and support for teens and adults across Florida and the Emerald Coast region.

People Seeking Support

Some people who stutter aren’t sure whether therapy is the right step yet. Support opportunities can provide a welcoming place to connect with others who understand the experience of stuttering.

I’m Nikki Martin, a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Emerald Coast Stuttering. I have spent over 20 years helping people improve their communication, and I have a special interest in supporting people who stutter.

Stuttering therapy today is about much more than speech techniques. It often involves building confidence, reducing speaking pressure, and helping people feel more comfortable communicating in everyday situations.

My goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where people who stutter can explore communication in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

You don’t have to navigate stuttering alone.
